Description
One of the most accurate
ways to flame treat a round product is to
stop and spin it in front of the flame. RLS
manufactures a complete line of indexing flame
treaters. The product is brought to the unit
on either the customer's supplied conveyor
or one that RLS can provide to match with
the system. The bottle enters the dial and
is indexed around the perimeter to the flame
treating station. Often times these plates
have a vacuum hold down to support the product
while rotating. Once the cycle is complete
the product will exit onto a discharge conveyor.
The units can be designed for a straight through,
or exit at a 90 degree position
These units are versatile and extremely repeatable. Speeds will vary with the size of the products. To obtain higher speeds, RLS can provide multiple flame stations around the dial. |
